What we Believe?

Christianity is a monotheistic religion based on the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christians share many basic beliefs, including:

The Trinity

Christians believe in three parts of God: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit.

Jesus

Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the savior of the world. They believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay for the sins of humanity and rose from the dead three days later. Christians also believe that Jesus will come again at the end of time.

Salvation

Christians believe that salvation means being saved from sin and having a relationship with God while on earth. They believe that one must place their faith in Jesus's work on the cross to be saved and enter heaven after death.

The Holy Spirit

Christians believe that the Holy Spirit guides, comforts, and encourages Christians. They also believe that the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, cultivates Christian character, and bestows spiritual gifts.

Jesus's teachings

Christians also embrace some of the main themes that Jesus taught, such as loving God, loving your neighbor, forgiving others, and asking God for forgiveness.
